Facilities available: St Nix Youth Centre, Chargrove, Yate BS37 4LG is predominately used for the delivery of a variety of youth services in the area. When not being utilised for youth provision, it is available to hire.
With various meeting spaces within the venue, it is suitable for community group meetings and youth activities. The venue has an ample sized sports hall which is a great space for children’s parties or activities where an open hall is required.
Parking: Limited onsite parking is available and the Town Council encourages all hirers and visitors to car share and utilise public transport.
St Nix Youth Centre is an unmanned building and you will need to collect a key from the Town Council Office at Poole Court prior to your booking. A CASH returnable keyholder/damage deposit is required at the time of collecting the key. A £50 deposit is charged for all bookings except social events and birthday parties for 16’s plus where the deposit is £100 or £250 where permission for alcohol has been given.
Removal of Rubbish
Please note, you must take all your rubbish with you at the end of your period of hire.
3rd Party Equipment
If you are having 3rd party equipment eg. soft play, disco, the hirer must check and confirm with the 3rd party provider of the equipment that they will be in attendance and supervising the use of their equipment for the duration of the period of hire.
For insurance purposes, the equipment must not be dropped off by the 3rd party provider and manned by the hirer themselves.
Please provide the Town Council with confirmation that the 3rd party will be in attendance for the duration of the booking, together with a copy of their Public Liability Insurance and current PAT or PIPA testing certificate (as applicable) for the equipment being used at the point of returning your signed booking form.
