Service Support Apprentice

You will be working as part of a busy office team assisting with the day to day administration of the Town Council.
The post is for 16 months where you will be supported to achieve a Level 2 NVQ in Customer Service Minimum wage according to age. 30 hours per week.

Permanent Role
16 Hours per week (part-time)
Salary: £9.60 per hour (£18,516 per annum pro-rata FTE (Hay Grade 13 SCP2)).
Experience of working with young people or in a hospitality or retail setting preferable but not a necessity, as full training will be provided. Some posts (not all) require applicants to be aged 18+ due to Yate Town Council’s lone working and insurance policies. Enhanced DBS Check is Required.
Senior Youth Co-Ordinator

Salary: £26,466 pa (Hay 8 SCP20)
This role will co-ordinate, deliver and develop open access and targeted youth delivery for Yate Town Council, providing a welcoming, safe and enjoyable experience for customers aged 11-25 years old.

Salary: £9,760.43 pa (Hay 9 SCP 12 – Full time equivalent: £22,571)
Based at our Armadillo venue, this role works as leader in charge for open sessions, under the general direction of the Senior Youth Co-ordinator.
The post holder will support the co-ordination, delivery and development of open access and targeted youth delivery for Yate Town Council to provide welcoming, safe and enjoyable experiences for customers aged 11-25years old.
Community Engagement Assistant
Ukrainian and English Speaking
Closing Date: midday 12 August 2022
(Limited Term Contract for 3 months)
Hours negotiable up to 15 hours per week
Salary:- £10.19 per hour ( Full time equivalent of £19,650 Hay 11 SCP 5 )
Would you like to assist with helping us to welcome guests to Yate? – organising and hosting activities within town council facilities, engaging and interacting via social media, website updating and offering translation services where needed.

The Pop Inn is a Community Café designed for users over 50’s. The cafe has had great success over the years and has seen many people drawn in by the light interior, the peaceful atmosphere and the friendly volunteer staff. Volunteer at Yate Heritage Centre
Yate Heritage Centre is a Fully Accredited Museum which, as part of Yate Town Council, serves all our local communities. Yate Heritage Centre is a dynamic facility devoted to serving the local area. To sustain progress and remain effective, volunteers are always needed to take part in history projects and to help staff the building.
