The Festival will showcase the wide variety of activities available in Yate and the surrounding areas, for people approaching retirement and those already retired. The festival hopes to bring the generations together with music, opportunities and local activities as well as light refreshments.
Representatives from a wide variety of community groups will come together to offer information about and opportunities to join local clubs, social groups, and volunteering opportunities for many different areas of interest including sport, music, health, arts, culture, heritage and even DIY.
Festival celebrations will include performances during the day from local bands and choirs. Free drinks and biscuits will be served to visitors to Yate Town Council venues, and the Pop Inn Café will be open to all ages during the festival.
