We have received news that South Gloucestershire Council has purchased the entire Whirlpool site on Station Road and has leased it back to Whirlpool for 3 years with options to renew.
The Town Council will be keeping a keen eye on developments, especially if there is any news in relation to using any of the land not currently in use by Whirlpool for alternative uses and would encourage some much needed car parking for Station Road. Plus we very much back any plans to ensure that the jobs created by Whirlpool remain in the town.
