Yate Town Council has installed new bicycle hoops at key locations across the town, thanks to funding from South Gloucestershire Council’s Getting About Project Fund. The new facilities aim to encourage cycling and make it easier for residents and visitors to securely park their bikes.
The bike hoops have been installed at:
- Kingsgate Park, by the small children’s play area
- Yate Community Centre, outside the front area
- St Mary’s Play Area
- Sunnyside Playing Fields
These new installations are part of ongoing efforts to promote active travel and make local amenities more accessible for cyclists of all ages.
