Grants to Local Community Groups
Yate Town Council promotes an active community in Yate by awarding grants annually to non-profit making organisations. These organisations work for the benefit of Yate parishioners, with the intention of improving the range of services and activities in the town. Applications are particularly welcome from community groups and activities that respond to the climate and ecological crisis.
The Town Council recognises and supports the valuable contribution made by the voluntary sector to the wellbeing of the community. Many groups have benefited from grant assistance in the past including Hedgehog Rescue, MS Therapy Centre, Friends of Kingsgate Park, Cotswold Vale Talking Newspaper, Great Western Air Ambulance, to name but a few.
If your organisation is in need of some financial assistance and provides a beneficial service or activity for the community of Yate you can apply for grant funding from Yate Town Council.
NOTE: Applications that respond to the climate and ecological crisis will be considered throughout the year.
Application forms are available from April onwards and can be downloaded below or obtained via our contact form.
Grants for Environmental Projects
In addition to the annual grants round above, grant applications will be considered all year round if they relate to environmental projects that respond to the climate and ecological crisis.
