The Pop Inn Café has created a brand new outdoor seating area complete with a bistro style canopy and new outdoor furniture, so that customers can enjoy their café treats in the fresh air, in rain or shine.
Yate Town Council funded the new outdoor area with additional support from South Glos Council’s ‘Area Wide Grant Scheme, to provide customers with comfortable and accessible furniture, with high arms and backs. Not only will the new furniture support mobility needs but it will also increase the number of customer seating areas at the café meaning it can serve more customers than ever before.
The Pop Inn Café is a unique café for customers aged over 50 years, it serves up low-cost refreshments and light food 5 days per week, it offers volunteering and social activities for the over 50’s community all year round – and it’s customers call it the friendliest café in town!
